About Lake Como NJ
Lake Como is a borough located in Monmouth County, NJ. As of the 2019 census, it had an approximate population of 1,750 residents. It was originally formed as the borough of South Belmar in 1924 by an act of the New Jersey Legislature. In 2004, voters approved changing it to Lake Como, and that became effective in January 2005. Presumably, it is named after Lake Como in Italy. The borough of Lake Como is bordered by the Monmouth County municipalities of Belmar, Spring Lake, Spring Lake Heights, and Wall Township.
